In 1968 I became aware of Deep Purple. I was 9 years old. My older brother had the LP "Shades of Deep Purple". I loved the song Hush. In 1972 they came out with Machine Head. I heard it the following year. I fell in love with them and their new lead singer, Ian Gillan. Total lust! Incredible voice! Beautiful face, eyes and lips. And hair.... A great band with original sound.
