Jimmy Page

                                                                His Guitar...

I have been listening to music since I was 3 yrs. old ( 1964). I have heard a lot of guitar players over the years.  NO ONE does to me what Page does with his guitar! My lust isn't so much for his flesh, but with his playing.  I have been trying to define it for years....only one word really does .... "Orgasmic". When he plays especially heavy, the sound and energy produced...  stirs within me. And  is orgasmic! It is unbelievable....and beyond.... I LOVE Jimmy Page!!!

I have never had the good fortune of seeing him play. It was in my lost years when Zeppelin toured. And I missed him & Plant when they toured twice in the 1990's. I was too ill and too broke....and bummed. I hope an opportunity comes to see him in the near future. None of us are getting any younger.

I believe,  Led Zeppelin & Jimmy Page have NOT been given the credit they truly deserve. In terms of their talent and their contribution to music period! Page does deserve the term "genius" musically! They have influenced soooooo many great bands in our time. And excellent  guitar players..... Joe Perry, Slash, John Corabi. To name only a few.  And they continue to.  Zeppelin and Page have received a few awards in recent years. Much deserved!  Zeppelin was forgotten and past over in their day. Which is mind blowing when reflected on.

Jimmy Page...a brilliant Master.... "a son of Howlin' Wolf".

I just love this...from Steve Tyler (Aerosmith autobiograghy- 'Walk this Way'). For it is right on.  "Late in Jan. 1969, Led Zeppelin played at the Boston Tea Party and I went to see them with Henry Smith. I sat cross-legged in the back room, smoking a joint, waiting to see if Jimmy Page could live up to the hype of the huge advance Led Zeppelin had gotten. A couple of hours later, Led Zeppelin ran out of songs after they played their first whole album, so they had to do a bunch of Elvis Presley tunes because we wouldn't let them get off the stage. They literally brought me to tears with the middle section of "Dazed and Confused". The dynamics and power were unbelievable! It was foreplay, fucking and climaxing. Led Zeppelin was like great sex, and it was so heavy it made me cry".
